Markus joined the German office of Bencis in 2024. Prior to joining Bencis, Markus worked for the Boston Consulting Group in his native Austria for several years. There he was a member of the Private Equity practice, working on due diligences and developing growth strategies for portfolio companies of private equity clients throughout Europe. He has a background in Finance with an MSc from the London School of Economics and did his MBA at IESE Business School.
Markus is an enthusiastic sportsman who played ice hockey at a professional level for several years before his business career. He lives in Düsseldorf together with his wife and three children.
