Valentijn joined Bencis in 2022. Prior, Valentijn helped establish Enterprising Finance, a private debt investor focused on flexible financing solutions for smaller mid-market businesses in the Netherlands.
Valentijn also worked at NIBC, where he, amongst others, was responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating and closing debt transactions in private equity-backed deals across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. Valentijn was head of NIBC’s London-based leveraged finance team and part of NIBC’s technology sector team. At Bencis, he focuses on debt-related matters in both new investment opportunities as well as in existing portfolio companies, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Valentijn holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management as well as a Master’s degree in Telematics, both from the University of Twente.
