Orkla is acquiring 100% of the shares through its Orkla Snacks division. Completion of the transaction is expected in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and completion of the works council advisory process.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With four production facilities in Drachten, Oosterwolde and Hoorn (the Netherlands) and Metelen (Germany) and approximately 350 employees, CCI is a leading European manufacturer of sugar confectionery with a distinctive focus on next-generation candy: vegan, vegetarian, sugar-free and reduced-sugar, kosher, halal and allergen-free products. The company serves leading private-label and branded customers across Europe with a portfolio spanning gums &amp; jellies, all sorts, liquorice, dragees and hard-boiled candy.<\/p>\n<p>Bencis first invested in CCI in 2013 and reaffirmed its commitment in 2023 through the Bencis IV Continuation Fund. Over more than a decade of partnership, CCI has transformed into a European leader in next-generation candy, driven by continued investment in product innovation and speed- to-market, capacity expansion at its Drachten and Metelen facilities, and deeper relationships with blue-chip retail and branded customers. The company, with support of Bencis, focused strongly on embedding ESG into its core strategy and\u00a0achieved B Corp status as one of the first confectionery producers. Under Bencis\u2019 ownership the company has delivered strong, sustained growth while strengthening its position as Europe\u2019s partner of choice for next-generation confectionery.<\/p>\n<p>Orkla, already an important and fast-growing customer of CCI, offers a strong strategic and cultural fit. As part of Orkla Snacks, CCI will gain an ideal platform to accelerate its next phase of growth, extending Orkla\u2019s confectionery and next-generation candy capabilities and broadening its reach across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction will have no impact on CCI\u2019s day-to-day business, its employees or its customers, who will continue to be served without change.
